Instructional Video
By Mesmera (In cooperation with Harry Saroyan)

Running Time is approximately 60 minutes (or 1 hour)
This video, obviously, focuses on how to play finger cymbals. Mesmera is a very good dancer and shows she's just as good at playing zills. At times, throughout the video it becomes hard to hear her though. When she is speaking over the music, zills, and drumming, her voice is sometimes lost in noise. Luckily, her voice carries well enough to be heard over the sounds. It also feels like she's playing it up a little to much at times. There are places when you may feel that the obvious overacting is a bit cheesy. But besides those two points video has a lot of really good very solid information on zills. The video includes information on how to count the patterns out, basic teqniques, adding movement, ho six of te most commonly used patterns, and more. I think most dancers will really benefit from this video. One other thing that I, personally, wished was different was the style that she taught; I was taught to play them a different way then te way se teaches so it was almosrt like learning tem agian but at least I learned something new that way. I would reccomend this video for beginers and dancers looking to lor improve their zill skills.
