Rossah is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Rossah has studied with the world’s leading Oriental performers and instructors, here and abroad. She has been teaching and performing North African folkloric style and Danse Orientale for over 30 years. Her repertoire includes sword, tray, dancing on glasses, dancing with snakes, cane, candelabra, trance, cabaret, folkloric and village dances of Turkey, Egypt, Algeria,Tunisia and Morocco. Nominated for 2002 Lifetime Achievement Award by Zaghareet Magazine. She hosts monthly bellydance parties for all the local teachers and students and is a moderator for the Las Vegas community bellydance grouplist on Yahoo. A 6 week program is presented as an educational and entertaining blend of instruction combined with dance theory, humor, history, with beautiful dance movements, illustrating the many facets of this art form. (Prices are per 6 week session.)
